With the so-called 7th axis as linear adjustment, the radius of action of robots is extended and thus they become much more flexible in their applications. The drylin® ZLW-20 toothed belt axis is ideally suited as a wide low-profile linear axis. For this axis, two adapter kits are now available for the direct connection of robots robolink DP, robolink DCi as well as Universal Robots with UR CAP integration. Optionally, the ZLW-20 toothed belt axis can be delivered ready for connection with the matching adapter kit or the adapter kit separately.
Now download the STEP data of the axis 7 with e-chain and configure your own robot application or contact us! Our experts would be happy to advise you.

This storage aid, consisting of robolink® D and drylin® E components, sorts individual parts on warehouse shelves and is in daily use. The individual parts are first scanned and then placed on the appropriate shelf by the gripper arm construction. According to needs, different components can be combined with each other and the ideal solution for very different applications can therefore be supplied.
Storage and sorting tasks with a universal robot on a drylin® ZLW axis. The 7th axis allows for altogether more flexible movements of the UR robot and hence more variable tasks.
This automatic book scanner from EPS GmbH has been equipped with a robolink® D, which turns pages and initiates scanning of the next page as soon as a page has been scanned. The articulated arm is able to turn pages made of highly sensitive paper in different book sizes by means of a suction effect generated between a special tool and the page.
